On 10/19/2024, Lawrenceburg Police Department officers responded to a report of an armed domestic violence incident at the Hollywood Casino. Officers arrived on the fourth floor of the building and located Milo Lamar Kirsh in the hallway.

Kirsh began shooting. Officers opened fire, striking him. Kirsh was pronounced deceased at the scene. The incident is under investigation by the Indiana State Police and the Dearborn County Prosecutor’s Office.
