Rey David Martinez was fatally shot by Phoenix police around 11:30 a.m. after a woman reported him jumping into her backyard while she was feeding livestock. The incident occurred near 3rd Street and Clarendon Avenue. Officers arrived, surrounded an alley, and confronted Martinez, who allegedly ignored commands and pointed a replica handgun at them.
