OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On November 14, 2024, at approximately 5:00 p.m., McComb Police Department officers responded to reports of a Dodge Charger near the 200 block of 25th Street in McComb, Mississippi. Upon arrival, two young men exited the vehicle. One of them, identified as 16-year-old Jamorion Seiber, allegedly held a weapon. Officers opened fire, fatally shooting Seiber.

Another individual was arrested for unknown reasons, while three to four young men fled in the Dodge Charger. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is conducting an inquiry, with findings to be reviewed by the Attorney General’s Office.
