A West Virginia state trooper escalated a high-speed chase that ended when the fleeing vehicle crashed head-on into an ambulance and then a Honda. A female bystander from the Honda was ejected and killed. The reason for the chase was that the vehicle being pursued was seen with a driver and passenger who were not wearing seatbelts.
