On November 26, 2024, Mannford police initiated a pursuit for undisclosed reasons in Creek County, Oklahoma. At some point, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol took over the chase around 6:00 p.m. Police rammed the fleeing vehicle with a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (PIT maneuver), causing it to leave the roadway and crash. Two individuals died at the scene.
