On 11/29/2024, officers from the Broken Arrow Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance near Gary Street and Lions Avenue in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Upon arrival, police encountered a man with a machete. During the interaction, an officer discharged their firearm, striking the man. He was transported to a hospital, where he died from his injuries. A teenager related to the domestic disturbance was taken into custody.
