OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On November 30, 2024, at approximately 3:25 a.m., deputies from the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of shots fired at a residence in the 100 block of Scott Creek Road in Crossville, Tennessee. Upon arrival, deputies encountered 22-year-old Rodolfo Daniel Lima with a handgun in the driveway. Lima allegedly fired in the direction of the deputies. At least one deputy discharged their firearm, striking Lima, who was pronounced dead at the scene. No deputies were injured during the incident. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) is conducting an independent investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
