On 12/10/2024, at approximately 1:00 PM, officers from the Covington Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance call at 123 Main Street in Covington, Kentucky. Upon arrival, Michael Johnson, a 35-year-old male, locked himself inside the residence.
After negotiation attempts failed, Johnson allegedly fired shots toward officers. An officer opened fire, killing Johnson who was pronounced deceased at the home.
