OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :

On December 10, 2024, the Oshkosh Police Department responded to a report of a stabbing incident at a residence in the 400 block of West 10th Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a female victim with stab wounds on the front porch of 433 West 10th Avenue. They learned that the stabbing occurred next door at 437 West 10th Avenue, where the suspect and another victim were still inside. Officers entered the residence and encountered the suspect armed with a bladed weapon. An officer opened fire, resulting in the man's death. A second female stabbing victim was found inside the house. Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation is leading the investigation.
