On 12/17/2024, at approximately 11:55 AM, North Little Rock Police Department officers responded to a reported armed robbery at a Casey's gas station on Springhill Drive. Upon arrival, officers observed a man matching the description of the individual involved entering a wooded area near the 3200 block of Springhill Drive. Officers pursued the man into the woods, where an encounter ensued. Police opened fire and killed him.
