On October 9, 2021, deputies from the Madison County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic dispute call involving Calvin Robinson, 52, and his wife. After the call, Robinson drove away in a car. Following a brief pursuit, he stopped, and when confronted by deputies, he allegedly pointed a weapon at them, leading to the officers shooting and killing him.
