On 09/13/2021, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police responded to a restaurant for a report of a man armed with a knife who was attempting to start a fight with an employee. Officers made contact with the man, who initially complied with their orders but then fled the scene. Police pursued the man, who eventually jumped a freeway wall and was struck and killed by a vehicle on U.S. 95.
