On 09/12/2021, at approximately 10:15 p.m., two Gloucester Township police officers pursued a driver suspected in a hit-and-run incident but reportedly broke off the pursuit. Shortly thereafter, Winslow Township police discovered the man had been involved in a crash on Sicklerville Road. The collision involved three vehicles traveling in the opposite direction. The fleeing driver was killed.
