OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
In the early hours of January 2, 2025, around 12:30 a.m., Pine Bluff Police Department officers responded to a disturbance at the Harbor Oaks Restaurant, located within the Pine Bluff Regional Park. Upon arrival, officers encountered an altercation in the parking lot involving several individuals. As one officer attempted to intervene and pull Lee from the fight, Lee reportedly shot the officer in the leg. The injury was not life-threatening.A second officer discharged his firearm, striking Lee, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Additionally, a 19-year-old bystander, Asia Amos, sustained a gunshot wound during the incident; her injury was also not life-threatening.
