On 01/03/2025, Chicago Police Department officers responded to a domestic disturbance call at the Albany Terrace Apartments, a senior living facility in the 3000 block of West 21st Place in Chicago. Upon arrival, officers encountered 58-year-old Timothy Glaze, who was armed with a knife. It is alleged that Glaze moved toward the officers. They opened fire and killed him. The shooting is under investigation by the Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA).
