OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On January 5, 2025, Knox County Sheriff's Office deputies executed a search warrant at a residence in the 7800 block of Sevierville Pike in Knoxville, Tennessee. During the operation, deputies encountered 18-year-old Daevon Montez Saint-Germain, who allegedly displayed a firearm. SWAT deputies opened fire, killing him. His grandmother, who was in the home, disputes the police narrative and states that he was asleep when police barged in and killed him. His family stated that he was graduating from high school and had bought a box truck and was excited about starting his own business as a delivery driver.
