On December 5, 2021, officers from the New Castle Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 300 block of Boyles Avenue in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Upon arrival, officers encountered Anthony Edward Moore, a 58-year-old white male. During the interaction, officers opened fire, fatally shooting Moore. The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the shooting.
