Border Patrol agents noticed a Nissan Altima driving past the checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas, and initiated a pursuit. The vehicle reportedly crashed into a median barrier. As agents and deputies approached the vehicle, they heard a gunshot. Upon approaching, they found the driver dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
