Shelby County Sheriff's Office responded to a standoff in Shelby County, Alabama. Upon arrival, a man inside the residence fired at officers. During the standoff, law enforcement discovered the man's father deceased in a bathtub. The armed individual was later shot and killed by police. According to the corner, the father had been dead in the bathtub for months prior to being found. The incident is under investigation.
