OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On January 27, 2025, at approximately 4:56 p.m., uniformed officers from the San Francisco Police Department responded to a shooting near Mission and 9th Streets. Upon arrival, they found an adult male victim with gunshot wounds receiving treatment from paramedics; he was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police located a man believed to be the shooter in a nearby building. Officers established a perimeter. Police shot and killed him. The incident is under investigation.
