On July 1, 2021, around 12:20 a.m., Fort Wayne Police responded to a report of a disturbance involving a reportedly intoxicated man. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with a man sitting in the driver's seat of a vehicle. The driver fled in the car, leading to a police pursuit. The vehicle eventually crashed, resulting in the deaths of Sor No Bit, 25, Sai Po Lar, 28, and Ah Tone, 28.
