OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On January 28, 2025, Kentucky State Police responded to a domestic violence incident near Morehead in Rowan County. Upon arrival, the trooper found 58-year-old Thomas Marshall Crouch II kneeling over a woman inside a residence, armed with a knife. The trooper discharged their weapon, striking Crouch. He was transported to St. Claire Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. The woman involved sustained injuries from the domestic incident and was treated and released from the same medical facility. No law enforcement personnel were injured during the incident.
