On 02/10/2025, deputies from the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Pecan Drive in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. Upon arrival, deputies encountered Nathan Johnson, who was reportedly armed. During the confrontation, at least one deputy discharged their firearm, resulting in Johnson's death. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is investigating the incident.
