On February 23, 2025, Albuquerque Police Department officers responded to a domestic violence call at a residence in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Upon arrival, they encountered Benjamin Raymond, an Aryan Brotherhood member and convicted federal felon, in the driveway. Raymond became combative, and when officers attempted to arrest him, he tried to flee. A physical struggle ensued, during which officers wrestled with Raymond, who was armed with a handgun. During the altercation, officers discharged their firearms, fatally wounding Raymond. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is under investigation by local authorities.
