OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On June 23, 2022, at approximately 8 a.m., 30-year-old inmate Marissa Fresquez was found unresponsive in her cell during a routine head count at the Pueblo County Jail. An autopsy report indicated that Fresquez had methamphetamine in her system and a history of withdrawal symptoms. The incident prompted an independent investigation by the 10th Judicial District Critical Incident Response Team.
