On February 27, 2025, deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Temple Station served a search warrant at a residence in the 8700 block of Scott Street in Rosemead, California. While deputies were inside serving the search warrant, the woman confronted them and reportedly had a knife. Officers opened fire and killed her.
