OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 03/05/2025, at approximately 3:50 a.m., officers at the Monroe County Jail in Michigan discovered a 56-year-old man unresponsive in a cell. Officers initiated CPR until firefighters and Monroe Community Ambulance personnel arrived to continue life-saving measures. Despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is conducting an investigation into the incident.
