On February 26, 2025, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Devin Williams, 55, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and booked into the Harris County Joint Processing Center in Houston, Texas. Around 9:00 a.m. on February 27, 2025, approximately 12 hours after his booking, Williams was found unresponsive while seated in the processing area. It appeared he had experienced a medical emergency. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the official cause of death.
