OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On March 6, 2025, at approximately 11:15 a.m., officers from the Abington Township Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting a domestic disturbance at the Rosemore Gardens Apartments in the 2300 block of Rosemore Avenue, Glenside, Pennsylvania. A young girl had called 911, stating that her mother's boyfriend had a firearm and fired it within the apartment. Upon arrival, officers heard an additional gunshot followed by screaming. They forcibly entered the apartment and encountered an adult female and the armed man. Two officers opened fire, striking the man. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The investigation is handled by the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.
