On 03/06/2025, at approximately 10:15 a.m., Denver Police Department officers responded to a shooting at the intersection of Speer Boulevard and West 8th Avenue. A person left the scene, and officers escalated a pursuit that ended near 13th Avenue and Fox Street. During the confrontation, police opened fire and killed the individual. Authorities have not released the identities of those involved.
