OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 03/10/2025, at approximately 4:45 p.m., a man shot his neighbors, Tom and Jill Kwatkoski, following a prolonged dispute. Adamo shot Tom outside his home and then shot Jill inside their residence. Both victims were airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in critical but stable condition. After the shooting, he barricaded himself inside his home, leading to a two-and-a-half-hour standoff with the Berkeley Township Police Department's SWAT team. When officers forced entry, they found him dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in an upstairs bedroom. A pressure cooker located near him was determined not to be an explosive device. Neighbors reported he had longstanding conflicts with the victims.
