OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :

At approximately 7:04 a.m., Chicago police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 900 block of East 100th Street in the Pullman neighborhood. Officers said they found a man inside a bedroom with a woman and a gun. As police attempted to de-escalate, the woman was able to leave the room. Police stated that the man then pointed the gun toward them, and an officer opened fire and killed him. A gun was recovered at the scene. The Civilian Office of Police Accountability is investigating.
