On March 20, 2025, around 2:00 a.m., Moore Police Department officers conducted a traffic stop near Interstate 35 and Southwest 34th Street. During the stop, officers discovered that the 19-year-old male driver had an outstanding felony warrant. As officers attempted to arrest him, he allegedly produced a firearm. Officers opened fire and shot him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating the incident.
