Carroll County deputies located a man wanted in connection with a Greensboro, North Carolina shooting. The man was found in a Swift tractor-trailer at the Love’s Travel Stop on Old Pipers Gap Road. During the arrest attempt, gunfire was exchanged. Two deputies were shot and hospitalized. Officers opened fire and killed the man at the scene.
