OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On April 18, 2025, Kasey Ball, 38, was found unresponsive in her cell at the Oklahoma County Detention Center during an evening headcount. Medical staff performed CPR, and EMSA continued life-saving efforts, but she was pronounced dead at a local hospital at 8:06 p.m. Ball had been detained since March 7, 2025, on charges of exploitation of an elderly person and a protective order violation, with bond set at $15,000. The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating the cause and manner of death.
