Upon arrival, they encountered 37-year-old Jody Renee Cobia, the homeowner who allegedly had a gun. During the encounter, police shot and killed Cobia under undisclosed circumstances in her own home. It remains undisclosed who called police and why they arrived and killed the homeowner in her own home.
