OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On April 29, 2025, at approximately 12:37 a.m., Dallas police conducted a traffic stop at C.F. Hawn Freeway and North Jim Miller Road after identifying a vehicle associated with two felony warrants—aggravated sexual assault and burglary with intent. The male driver complained of chest pains during the stop. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded at 1:48 a.m. and medically cleared him. Officers transported the man to the Southeast Patrol Station for an interview. Upon arrival, he again reported feeling ill. Dallas Fire-Rescue was called, but he was pronounced dead at the station. The Dallas Police Special Investigations Unit, the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, and the Office of Community Police Oversight are investigating the incident.
