On May 5, 2025, a driver died in a crash after fleeing from police on I-94 in west-central Minnesota. The pursuit began when officers attempted to stop the driver for speeding, and the suspect fled at high speeds. During the chase, the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a semi-truck.
