Michaela Collins, 29, was a passenger on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Nicholas Littleton during a police pursuit by Wetzel County deputies. The pursuit reached speeds of over 110 mph on WV Route 20. Near Wallace, Littleton lost control and struck a guardrail. Both he and Collins died at the scene. The nature of the original traffic stop was not made public.
