OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On May 7, 2025, U.S. Marshals, assisted by the San Juan County Sheriff's Office, attempted to apprehend Brandon Roe, who was wanted on multiple warrants. During the operation on the 4000 block of Copper Avenue in Farmington, Roe was in the passenger seat of a vehicle driven by Breanna Wilkerson. Witnesses reported that as law enforcement approached, Roe attempted to climb into the driver's seat, and the vehicle moved toward the officers. U.S. Marshals discharged their firearms, resulting in the deaths of both Roe and Wilkerson at the scene. No law enforcement officers were injured. The San Juan County Sheriff's Office is conducting the investigation.
