OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 05/16/2025, the Orange County Sheriff's Office SWAT team executed a drug search warrant at 5614 Lejeune Drive. Upon entry, deputies encountered an armed man reaching behind a door where a rifle was located. A deputy fired his service weapon, striking the man. Deputies rendered first aid, and the man was transported to the hospital, where he later died. The residence had been previously investigated for domestic violence and drug trafficking involving fentanyl and cocaine. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is conducting an investigation into the incident.
