At approximately 12:50 a.m. on May 28, 2025, a delivery driver in Manchester, New Hampshire, reported a stolen 2014 Toyota Corolla. About an hour later, a Manchester Police Department officer spotted the vehicle driving without headlights and attempted a stop. The 13-year-old driver did not stop. Police escalated a chase that was later terminated on the highway for safety reasons. Despite the termination, the vehicle crashed on the Kilton Road off-ramp from Route 101 in Bedford. The 13-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl passenger were ejected from the car. The boy was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The girl sustained serious injuries. The boy was a student at Southside Middle School in Manchester. The New Hampshire State Police are investigating the incident.
