OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :

On May 30, 2025, Taylorsville Police Department officers identified a stolen vehicle being driven by 35-year-old Caysee Rebolloso. When officers attempted to stop her, Rebolloso drove away. Police did not engage in an active ground pursuit but instead tracked the vehicle from a helicopter. Officers deployed tire spikes in an effort to disable the vehicle, but she continued driving. The vehicle ultimately crashed at the intersection of 4800 South and 500 West in Murray, striking two other cars. Rebolloso died from her injuries at the scene. Two other individuals were injured in the crash; one was transported to the hospital and the other was taken by family members for medical care. No body camera footage or additional video evidence has been publicly released.
