OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Police responded around 5:00 a.m. to a report that four individuals left AAA Diner without paying. Officers stopped the group’s Uber on Main Street. One 17-year-old male fled on foot. Officers chased him briefly before hearing a gunshot. He was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the leg and a stolen firearm nearby. He was taken to St. Francis Hospital but died in surgery.
