OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Around 6:30 a.m., detention deputies found Jordan Michelle Richards unresponsive in her cell with a piece of fabric around her neck. Life-saving efforts were performed and she was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Richards had been jailed since May 15 on charges including credit card fraud. An investigation is ongoing.
