OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Deputies responded to a domestic violence call on Still Lake Drive and found a woman outside the home with multiple stab wounds. She was rushed to a hospital in serious condition. The man inside the home refused to come out, prompting deployment of the Cherokee Multi-Agency SWAT team. After several hours of attempted negotiation, chemical agents and a drone were deployed. The man was found dead inside from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The case remains under investigation.
