Evergreen Park police responded to a reported stolen vehicle at the Speedway gas station at 3040 W. 95th Street. A woman was taken into custody inside the station. Meanwhile, a man drove off in the vehicle. Police pursued him eastbound on 95th Street. During the chase, the man crashed into another vehicle at 95th Street and Campbell Avenue. He was transported to a hospital and died. The other driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
