On June 4, 2025, Breele Jahiem Johnson, 22, was killed at the Bibb County Jail in Macon, Georgia. He was stabbed during a violent altercation inside the facility and later pronounced dead at a local hospital. Four other detained individuals were also injured. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. The names of those injured and the circumstances surrounding the violence have not been released. Johnson had been in jail due to aggravated assault and receiving stolen property.
