Around 4:00 a.m. on 06/08/2025, Denver Police responded to a fatal crash on northbound Interstate 25 near the 20th Street exit. A woman driving a Chrysler van had reportedly been traveling the wrong way on the interstate since around 2:59 a.m. after eluding a Colorado State Patrol trooper near Mead. The van continued fleeing until it collided head-on with another vehicle. The female driver was killed at the scene. One passenger in her van and three occupants of the other vehicle were injured.
