OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Deputies attempted to serve a court order for a mental health evaluation at a home on Rose Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Cristian Javier Estrada Perez reportedly did not respond, prompting deputies to threaten use of pepper balls. When deputies opened the door, Estrada Perez allegedly fired four shots with a gun strapped to his hand. Two deputies opened fire and killed him. No deputies were injured. The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
